BranchOrbit provides restaurant operations, online ordering, customer engagement, and integration software. This Privacy Policy explains how BranchOrbit collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when restaurants, restaurant staff, and customers use BranchOrbit websites, applications, and related services.
Information we collect
We may collect account information, restaurant business data, branch and user details, customer order data, support communications, device and log information, cookies, authentication data, and information submitted through forms such as demo or contact requests.
Restaurant business data
Restaurant accounts may provide business names, branch details, menus, modifiers, operating settings, user permissions, subscription information, branding assets, order routing settings, and integration configuration.
Customer order data
Customer ordering workflows may include customer names, contact details, order contents, pickup or delivery choices, loyalty or wallet activity, gift card activity, and order status history. Restaurants are responsible for their own notices and legal obligations to their customers.
Payments
BranchOrbit does not claim to store full payment card numbers. Payment card data is handled by payment processors such as Stripe or another relevant payment provider. We may store payment status, transaction references, wallet or gift card records, and limited metadata needed to operate the platform.
Cookies, authentication, analytics, and logs
We use cookies, local storage, tokens, analytics, diagnostics, and server logs to authenticate users, secure sessions, maintain service reliability, understand product usage, and troubleshoot issues.
Email notifications
BranchOrbit may send transactional emails related to accounts, orders, verification, support, restaurant operations, and customer communications. Marketing communications, where used, should include appropriate opt-out controls.
POS integrations
When a restaurant connects a POS provider, BranchOrbit may process provider account identifiers, merchant identifiers, order identifiers, menu or inventory data, webhook events, and encrypted access or refresh tokens needed to operate the integration. Integration availability may depend on provider approval, permissions, region, and plan.
Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, payments, email delivery, notifications, database infrastructure, analytics, customer support, and security. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to BranchOrbit.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain audit records, and operate restaurant accounts. Retention periods may vary by data type and customer instructions.

BranchOrbit uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption for sensitive integration tokens. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
User rights
